Our Story

Drs. Quintin and Katie Sleigh have been serving the Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Mount Prospect, Wheeling, and Long Grove communities since 2009. Giving back to those less fortunate has always been a value of theirs and a goal that they had when starting their practice. In 2008, while they were in chiropractic school, they traveled to India to provide free chiropractic care in Hyderbad. This was a life changing experience for both of them. Drs. Quintin and Katie saw the terrible living conditions and education system that was available in this poor area. Many of the patients they cared for hadn’t had any healthcare in a very long time and were suffering tremendously. Drs. Quintin and Katie were amazed at the difference they were able to make in these people’s lives and humbled by the gratitude that they received while on this trip. As a result of this trip, they knew that they wanted to find a way to use their training and expertise to continue to give back to those who are less fortunate.

When Drs. Quintin and Katie learned of the Hands for Life non profit organization, they knew it would be a perfect fit. They resonated with the organization’s goal to make sure every man, woman and child have a high functioning nerve system, enough food and water for great nutrition, and an education so they can read, write and have basic skills. Through Hands for Life Arlington Heights North, Drs. Quintin and Katie are able to provide education and chiropractic care to more families, individuals, and cultures in their community and abroad.

Our Team

We’re a family of chiropractors serving to make the world a healthier, more connected place. Our team understands the disparity in healthcare across the globe. There are some communities with access to excellent chiropractic care. There are other groups of people who have no way of receiving the benefit of chiropractic care. Our team came together to try and shrink the gap between the “haves” and the “have not’s”.

Along with his wife, Dr. Quintin started Hands for Life Arlington Heights North. Chiropractic care has always been a big part of Dr. Quintin’s life. He has 2 uncles that are chiropractors and remembers spending time in their offices when he was younger. He was always amazed at the difference in people when they walked in versus when they walked out of the offices. Dr. Quintin received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree and Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from the fountainhead of chiropractic, Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Diagnosis Certificate of Merit. While is school at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Quintin had the privilege of participating in an intern rotation at the Iowa City Veterans Hospital as well as a clinic abroad trip to India. It is especially through his experience in India that he developed a desire to help improve the health of those in need. He has experienced dramatic changes in his life and the lives of others through chiropractic care, and his desire is to make this accessible to those who may not otherwise have access to it. Along with her husband, Dr. Katie started Hands for Life Arlington Heights North. Dr. Katie started seeing a chiropractor at a young age after having a very painful stomach condition that her medical doctors weren’t able to figure out. After she was sent home from the hospital with no answers, she saw a chiropractor for the first time. Following adjustments, she no longer had stomach pain! Dr. Katie has been seeing chiropractors ever since. Dr. Katie also received her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from the fountainhead of chiropractic, Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. She graduated as Valedictorian of her class. While in chiropractic school, Dr. Katie also had the privilege of participating in an intern rotation at the Iowa City Veterans Hospital as well as a clinic abroad trip to India. Like Dr. Quintin, she developed a desire to help improve the health of those in need while on this trip. Dr. Katie has also completed a Webster Technique Certification as well as the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association’s Certification Program. With her education background in pregnancy and pediatrics, Hands for Life Arlington Heights North strives to especially help pregnant women and kids in need. Dr. Katie Sleigh
